London is gearing up to host a pivotal event in the world of data infrastructure this week as tech giants prepare to unveil their latest innovations.
From March 6th to March 7th, ExCeL London will be transformed into a hub of innovation and collaboration as Data Centre World 2024 brings together the brightest minds and leading companies in the data centre industry.
This two-day event serves as a crucial meeting point for various stakeholders within the data centre ecosystem, with a number of guest speakers from across the tech industry attending.
In today’s digital landscape, data security is a top priority for every organisation. Data breaches can have devastating consequences, both financially and reputationally. With the increasing volume and sensitivity of data being stored, data centres play a critical role in safeguarding this information.
Among the key players at this year’s tech show are 24M Technologies, AT-RACK, Verity Systems, and Exide, among others.
With data security on the agenda for many companies, exhibitors will be unveiling new solutions during the show to address the increasing risks for data centres dealing with cybersecurity attacks on infrastructure and other security concerns, including on-site solutions to protect servers.
Manufacturer Verity Systems, among other data security companies, is showcasing its hard drive destroyers and degaussers at the show. This technology has been emerging as a must-have for medium-sized businesses and above that are handling large volumes of data and want to securely erase their hard drives on-site.
Other security providers, such as Italy’s CoMETA, which specialises in value protection professional systems including fingerprint readers and face detection technologies, are offering in-demand solutions for improved security on-site as well.
With data centres considered key critical infrastructure for a majority of businesses today, the evolving technology to address the myriad of threats will be showcased during the two-day event.
Guest speakers will also provide insights into numerous innovations that are set to shape the future of data security in the tech industry for years to come.
