Verity Systems has emerged as a finalist in not one but two distinguished categories at this year’s annual DCS Awards 2024.

The company revealed it had been nominated for the coveted titles of Data Centre ICT Security Innovation of the Year and Data Centre Safety & Security Innovation of the Year. The dual acknowledgment highlights the success of Verity Systems, a UK-based manufacturer, in leveraging technology to introduce data centre safeguarding solutions against emerging threats.

Sam Adetoso, Sales Director at Verity Systems, remarked, “Being recognised by the DCS Awards is a tremendous honour, and to be nominated in two categories is a true testament to our dedication in pushing the boundaries of data centre security.”

Verity Systems’ nomination is the culmination of a fruitful year marked by the introduction of pioneering solutions tailored to combat evolving data security challenges. Among these innovations are the MediaGone 500 SSD Shredder and the DD Imager Suite, which were touted as game-changers for bringing new data shredding and auditing capabilities to businesses. The former boasts being the industry’s latest solid-state drive (SSD) shredder, offering unparalleled security for erasing sensitive data on high-performance storage devices. The latter comprises a comprehensive suite of data device scanning tools integrated with a software solution, enabling businesses to efficiently collect, analyze, and preserve digital evidence of their data destruction.

The DCS Awards, an annual event held in London, are designed to recognise excellence and innovation across the entire data centre sector. They serve as a crucial platform for celebrating the achievements of industry leaders and fostering collaboration within the data centre community. Shortlisted companies undergo rigorous evaluation by a panel of independent judges with extensive expertise in the field.

This prestigious recognition by the DCS Awards underscores the importance of UK manufacturing when it comes to addressing global issues including the need for data security and destruction.

This year’s award ceremony will take place on the 23rd of May at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Pauls, where tech innovators will be taking part in celebrating the best technical achievements of the past year.

In an effort to galvanize support and engage the public, Verity Systems is encouraging individuals to participate in recognising their achievements by casting a vote in the DCS Awards. Voters can register on the DCS Awards website and navigate to the “Vote Now” section, where Verity Systems among other companies are listed. The polls close on the 3rd of May, offering a short window for voters to take part.
